With a fiddle on fire and a powerhouse voice, Jess Novak is a triple threat.
A singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist originally from Byram, New Jersey, Novak has been living in Syracuse since 2009. She released her first all-original album, Bad Habit, in 2013, The Golden Novak Band in 2014, Rodeo in 2015 and Inches from the Sun with The Jess Novak Band in 2016.
She’s toured from Burlington, VT to Key West, FL, averages 250 gigs every year and has shared stages with bands and artists including Devon Allman, Tas Cru, The Ghost Town Blues Band and Butch Trucks’ Freight Train Band. Novak was the September 2016 cover girl of Syracuse Woman Magazine and continues her music journalism career as well writing for publications including Relix and The Syracuse New Times
