Moe Harrington is still under the impression that they called the wrong person so until they discover the mistake; she is thrilled to keep up the charade.
Moe’s first paid singing gig was with Jim Mosher’s Little Big Band and those standards are still her favorites, sometimes stepping in with the JazzKats. Elaine Stritch and Barbra Cook can do no wrong and she has never met a patter song she doesn’t like. She was last seen in God of Carnage with the Covey Theater Company which marked her 35th year onstage. Touring the East coast extensively, previous stage credits include THE GRADUATE, FUNNY GIRL, PETE ‘n KEELEY, UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, ROMANCE/ROMANCE, HAIRSPRAY and her SAMMY nominated one woman show ONE MOE TIME with music director, Jeff Unaitis which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for nonprofit agencies across CNY. Moe also appeared in the original cast of Jeff Kramer’s LOWDOWN LIES and REACHING FOR MARSBY. Directing credits include TORCH SONG TRILOGY and BLUE PLATE SPECIAL. Appearing in over twenty titles for Full Cast Audio, Moe is the voice of Rosethorn in the Circle of Magic book series, written by NY Times Bestselling Author, Tamora Pierce.
For her day gig, Moe is the Associate Development Director for the Q Center at ACR Health, a safe space for LGBTQ youth and has been a NYS licensed massage therapist for 20 years. “I am honored to have been asked to join this incredibly talented group of women and thank you, the audience, for your support of live music”.
